--What does cR stand for?
"cR" is short for "candyRIOT".

--What does being a candyRIOT model involve?
It involves sending in quality Photosets once a month, building a sort of "modeling portfolio" for yourself. It involves being part of a self-empowered tightly-knit community of fellow cR models and being a part of something great. It's about representing unconventionality and unique-ness through the candyRIOT site.

--I'm interested in modeling with you, how do I become a cR?
You'll need to fill out the application in the application section of this website.

--How old do I have to be?
You must be at least 17 years old to be a cR model.

--Is there any certain physical criteria I must meet?
No! We have plus size, regular size, and skinny sized models! There are no height or weight requirements, and no particular style we are looking for either. We are looking to have a very broad range of all kinds of beautiful models.

--Can we include nudity in our sets?
We allow brief artistic nudity for those models who are 18 and over. If that is what your goal is as a model we don't believe it's right to censor you, but we WILL try to keep it tasteful and at a minimal. (Sets including nudity will still heed an 18+ only warning, of course). Though we have nothing against porn sites, we don't want to be mistaken for one. candyRIOT.net and it's owners retain the right to reject any sets that we deem distasteful or inappropriate for the site.

--Where do all of our photos go?
All of your photos will be viewable here, at http://www.candyriot.net under "Models".

--I used to be a cR model, but I withdrew or ignored the group...can I rejoin?
Sure. You'll need to fill out a new application.

-- There are so many myspace modeling groups out there, what makes cR so different from all the rest?
Unlike most model groups, we will have all of your sets fully-viewable on the site. We're not subject to a certain type of style, such as alternative -- we have a diversity of models, and most importantly, we don't require our models to send in any nudity.

--When do the models turn in new sets?
New girls will get a two-week deadline to get her first set in. After that, sets are due once a month by the 28th of each month.

--How many photos should each set contain?
Your photosets should never be below the minimum of 8 pictures. Our sets are usually between 8-14 pictures. We would prefer that you send in more than that, and we will pick your best 14.

--I filled out an application, will you notify me if I don't get accepted?
If we are not accepting new models at the time, we will keep your application on file and notify you when the time is right.

--Can those out of Houston, TX be a cR model?
Most definitely! We want to include girls from all over the states and elsewhere! We are currently seeking models in the UK, Canada & Japan!

--What kind of models are you looking for?
Regular models, new models, old models, experienced models, inexperienced models. All kinds!

--Do I need to submit new pictures for my application or can I submit ones I've used elsewhere?
The pictures you send with your application may be pictures that have already been used.

--Can you shoot the photos of me?
If you live anywhere in the Houston area, then yes I can take your photos! Speak with me at cindy(at)candyriot.net for more info.

--My friend wants to model with me, may he/she?
Only if they are a current cR model.

--I don't have a photographer but I really want to be a cR model! What are my options?
If you have a friend who can take your photos, that will work just fine. Just make sure there is still a good quality to the photos. You may also speak with Cindy at cindy@candyriot.net to see if she can help you find a good photographer in your area.

--Can I send in more than 14 pictures?
Definitely! But please note theres a possibilty that all of your photos will not be used, we will choose what we think is your best 14.

--Is it possible to win a contest more than once?
Yes.

--My monthly set wasn't accepted. Why is that??
This is because your set did not meet our photoset standards. Before you turn in your first set, please read the document titled "Photo Standards". We will always notify you if your set wasn't accepted, and all this means is to try harder the next month. We want to give you a chance to have as many quality sets on our website as possible, because more sets for you means more modeling exposure.

--What happens if I miss a set deadline?
You'll be fine as long as you don't skip 3 months in a row. Just be sure to get in a set by the next month.

--I don't think I can make the deadline, is there anything we can arrange?
It's okay to skip certain months if you need to, so long as you don't skip three months in a row. If a model does not turn in a set for three consecutive months, she will be removed from the site.

--Am I allowed to model for other sites?
Of course! candyRIOT.net does not require our models to be exclusive, you may model for as many sites as you wish. We want you to get noticed through our website, You can use our website as a reference when you are applying to other sites! However, we ask that you please not send us any photos that have been used for other modeling groups.

--Can I use the photosets I send you in my portfolio or myspace?
Yes! Don't forget to mention that the photoset is also viewable at candyRIOT.net!

--I don't like one of the pictures in my set that is up on the website, can you remove it? What about name changes, can we change that?
No. Once a photoset goes live on the site, we will not alter it unless needed. If there is a photo you don't like in your set, please don't send it in to us. About name changes, the answer is also no. To change your name that would be changing everything with your name on it for every page. We just don't have the time for that.

--Can I withdraw from the group at anytime?
Yes. Your info will be taken down from the site, and anything else having to do with cR.

--What do I get for modeling?
What we offer is your own personal page on the site, blogging, modeling exposure, and a really fun experience! Think of it as free modeling-portfolio space.

--What are set "no-nos"?
The no-no's are things that should NEVER be allowed in sets, these are: Real blood, self-mutilation, domestic violence, animal cruelty, depictions of rape.. etc. If you're under 18 no pictures with cigarettes & sex items (such as toys or porno mags), under 21 no pictures with alcohol. If you do any of the above, the "no-no" will be edited out, or we will reject the set altogether.

--Why isn't there any pay?
candyRIOT.net is privately owned and operated and we do not have the resources that larger companies have, we have to fund all our endeavors out of pocket. Seriously.

--Can my photographer receive payment from you for the photos he/she took?
As much as we would like to compensate photographers, we're not able to. Unfortunately, the owner of the site isn't rich, isn't a heiress, or isn't a drug dealer. But she is passionate. Which is the only reason this site is here; because it's an important endeavor to her and the models. Not because of money. If your photographer can't agree to shoot your photos on a TFCD basis, then we can't accept them. Sorry.

--Is candyRIOT.net a female only modeling site?
Absolutely not! We welcome all aspiring male models.
